Double Glazing For Edwardian Homes Across Bedfordshire

February 17th, 2008

Working with Victorian and Edwardian properties calls for that special touch of experience and, of course, the right products for the job.

We often have customers with old terraced properties with sash box windows in need of replacement. A common question is whether or not the frames have to be replaced with an entire new window or whether they can “get away” with just having the glass units replaced,

Some companies are able to replace the glass providing that the frames are in good order.

To ensure quality though it is our opinion that the whole window should be replaced with modern pvc-u replacement windows that have been styled to suit your property. This is also the only way to gain a full guarantee on the work and piece of mind for many years to come, not to mention warmth, security, style and added value for your home.

Our modern range of Sculptured UPVC windows in either Traditional Oak or Rosewood provide complete satisfaction and a window to look at as well as to look through.

Roofline, Soffits & Fascias Bedford, Milton Keynes

January 26th, 2008

Professional installation is key to protect your home against damp. At Trustyle, we take the care to remove the old fascia boards and complete all the finishing touches to beautify and protect your home.

Installation includes replacing rotten rafter feet, renewing cement on gable end edges and replacing rotten felt up to the first tiling batten.

Hidden ventilation facilities allow for timber to breathe and prevents damp. It allows the circulation of air without the use of ugly looking vents.
The UPVC outer skin on our fascias and soffits are colourfast keeping them looking good year after year.

UPVC is totally low maintenance and wipe-clean, and never needs repainting.

We have a selection of colours including white, black and brown designed to complement our full range of windows and doors.

Options include combining your new fascias and soffits with Trustyle cladding and bargeboards or guttering and downpipes for the complete roofline transformation.

UPVC Windows In The Midlands, FENSA, CPA Q’s

October 11th, 2007

When comparing window companies you’ll often hear phrases like “Fensa Registered” and “CPA Registered” but what do they mean? And do they hold any keys to the quality of service you can expect?

Firstly FENSA stands for Fenestration Self Assessment Scheme.

This means that all companies registered with FENSA will certify that their work complies with all relevant building regulations and no further action by yourself is required.

If you fit your own windows or use a company that’s not FENSA registered, you’ll have to notify your local council and approval will need to be gained from your local authority.  Its important that all regulations are met as this will crop us when you come to sell your property.

CPA stands for “Consumer Protection Association” and is designed to protect the consumer through carrying our independent “Surveys” where previous customers are contacted by CPA and asked to rate the service they received.

The overall results are then displayed in a pie chart so if 90+ percent of previous customers rated their replacement windows service as either “Excellent” or “Very Good” you’ll know that you are dealing with a quality company.

The trick here is that if a company says they are CPA Registered, ask to see their results!

At Trustyle UK LTD we proudly display our results certificate as its always been excellent and, of course,  we are FENSA registered,  based in Leicestershire and service Nottinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Coventry, Milton Keynes, Midlands.
