Someone just asked me about small conservatories or as they put it “cheap conservatories” - I have to admit, I dislike the word cheap because the same high standard of material goes into all our conservatories regardless of size - However, two conservatories spring to mind here if cost and size are both issues.
The “lean to” PVCU conservatory that we build is perfect for bungaloes and small properties as it is highly adaptable and is one of the least costly for us to build due to its shape so we naturally pass these savings onto you.
The PVCU Edwardian conservatory is another choice for small conservatory seekers because it provides full use of space within it’s four corners so even small conservatories provide an illusion of light and space for your Leicester home.

A customer recently asked why they should choose our company for their Leicester Conservatory over our competitors - Here are some reasons to gain a free conservatory quote for your Leicester home:
Our friendly designer will provide a land survey to ensure any home improvement will run smoothly - He (or she) will look to see how the land lies, look for any man hole covers, drains and anything of interest.
Then the idea will be to match the perfect conservatory to your Leicester home, easy when you know how - we can take all of your input, mix it with our own experience to come up with the perfect choices across a wide range of conservatories.
Then we’ll look at brickwork and the conservatories dwarf wall options to find the ideal match for your home - not to mention source a brick match to your home. Choose between a stone base or a brick base, fully insulated of course.
Maybe some under floor heating - or see our extensive range of Leicester conservatory accessories like lighting, heating, plumbing, spots, fans, colour choices but to name a few.
Then we’ll provide you with a no obligation quote - this is valid for a full twelve months, giving you all the time you need to compare us with other companies - hopefully we’ll be the company for you.
Compare our finance rates with other companies, your bank, loan adverts etc - you’ll see that under 5% is very good which we can offer - 0% interest is also available on some conservatories too - our designer will be pleased to compare us with whatever you can come up with.
Enough reasons? Why not request our brochure / free quote for your Leicester Conservatory today….

A potential customer in Nottingham has just asked what the difference is between a PVC-U Edwardian Conservatory and a UPVC Georgian Conservatory. It’s worth pointing out that we see the two as the same which is why we only advertise our Edwardian Style Conservatory which now comes which Swish PVC-U Sculptured Profile, Pilkington Glass and an Ultraframe roof - plus a 10 year guarantee.
Probably also worth a mention that PVC - UPVC - PVC-U etc all mean the same thing - what’s important is the thickness of the frame, the materials used and the craftsmanship of whoever is constructing your conservatory in Nottingham.

A potential client in Nottingham has just asked me what the difference is between a Georgian Conservatory and an Edwardian. Basically there is little to no difference as far as I’m aware its just that some companies use the term Georgian whilst ourselves and others decided to use the term Edwardian.
Edwardian conservatories offer a simple look with bold lines and clients often opt for an Edwardian because they are shaped in a typical room style fashion allowing them to blend seamlessly into your home.

Considering whether or not you need building permission for your home improvement in Leicester?
Some buildings are considered by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister to be exempt from the requirement of the Building Regulation. If your desired home improvement fits the criteria, no building control permission is required.
Before proceeding with your home improvement it is necessary to notify the Local Authority with written details and sketches of your proposals. They will then confirm if the work is exempt. You can then keep this as your proof of permission if you ever come to sell your property.
Even though your proposals may be exempt from the Building Regulations you may still require Planning Permission. This has to be applied for separately and advice can be obtained from the Planning Portal – details below.
Types of buildings that can often be exempt from building control permission.
· 1. Porches
· 2. Carports
· 3. Conservatory
· 4. Covered yard or covered way
· 5. Extensions or Alterations to an existing exempt building
· 6. Small detached building not containing sleeping accommodation.

I’ve just been speaking with one of our designers and he’s just been to visit a couple who were looking to have a Victorian Conservatory designed and built in Nottingham but their house was of substantial size, allowing for a number of possible locations.
So, I thought this article may be of help.
Locating your new sculptured conservatory next to a lounge or kitchen is the more common choice. You may plan to dine in your conservatory so having it close to the kitchen rather than the lounge may suit your purposes better.
You may, on the other hand simply want to extend your lounge to open up into your garden. This option suits many people, especially if your conservatory will be west or east facing.
North facing provides the least amount of heat whilst south facing can provide too much in the summer.
All of these issues can be overcome with the right set of conservatory accessories though, be it adequate ventilation, Pilkington Glass Options, Blinds and Heating.
Your Conservatory Nottingham design is in safe hands with Trustyle UK LTD designers who will look at your requirements, space, budget and options to provide what’s right for you and your family in Nottingham and across the Midlands.

I’ve just been speaking with one of our designers about custom built conservatories in Leicester, the Midlands and Milton Keynes and he mentioned that there were a number of options available to create custom conservatory designs and shapes to suit a wide range of properties.
Maybe you are looking for something different? Something that you’ve not seen in the many standard pictures floating around the internet? We can help.
A Lean to with Edwardian end can create a stunning conservatory design.
A Lean to Victorian and Gable can create a variety of dramatic, bespoke shapes and sizes.
Or even a raised lantern section tailoring the roof to suit the individual character of your property.
These are the types of jobs we excel at and our vast range of Sculptured PVC-U Conservatories in our range of colour options, Pilkington Glass and Ultraframe Roofing Systems, really make our job and the creation of the perfect conservatory commonplace for our customers across Conservatory Leicester, Nottingham, the Midlands and Milton Keynes.
The Quantal roof system is also particularly adept at spanning larger areas such as swimming pools.

It’s one thing gaining plenty of light into your conservatory and it’s another controlling the heat as a greenhouse effect might not be to every ones liking!
Of course it’s normal to want to keep the heat in, and if you are considering a Leicester conservatory, we can help.
Firstly, ascertain whether or not your conservatory is to be south facing as conservatories with this placement can endure higher temperatures.
A number of sophisticated glass solutions are in place to deal with heat levels within your new Leicester conservatory. The first is Pilkington Optifloat which is a coloured glass tint.
Or there is the Pilkington Arctic Blue which reduces incoming heat transmission.
Through professional design, fitting and the use of the best glass solutions, the ideal Conservatory in Leicester can be achieved. Visit Pilkington Glass

If you are thinking of upvc sculptured replacement windows or a conservatory within the Charnwood area of Leicestershire, Trustyle can help.
You may or may not have heard of a Fully Sculptured Profile effect but, truth be known, our decision to only use a fully sculptured profile has been one of hte reasons for our success. It provides a beautiful looking window, almost like looking at a picture frame providing a window to look at as well as look through.
This is extended throughout our conservatory range too which we provide as a customised service to suit you and your budget. We are expert designers so we are well used to dealing with the many questions that you may have.
Our sculptured Windows and Conservatories come in a range of colours and styles, like the Victorian Conservatory, P Shape, Lean To, T Shape, Large Span, Gable and Georgian. In future posts I’ll be providing pictures for each design and why they are chosen by our customers. We have some pictures of our work in the Windows and Conservatory buttons on the left.
Of course, Ultraframe Roofs, Pilkington Glass, High Quality UPVC Composition and 10 year guarantees come as standard if you choose us. Brochures and quotes are also free using the buttons above.
