You may have heard many different terms for modern double glazed windows, like upvc, pvc-u and pvcu. You’ll be pleased to know that they all mean the same thing!

The double glazed part of the window is the glass or sealed unit comprising of two panels of glass. The glass panes are kept apart by spacer bars which contain hundreds of little silica balls which absorb any moisture which exists in the air gap between the two glass panes.

Jargon apart though we supply and fit our Sculptured profile window across Nottinghamshire which our past customers have rated very highly as they are almost like picture frames but with high strength pvc-u compound.
